My name is Vanessa Mattsson-Boze and I’m the potter behind Imago Dei Pottery. I graduated UW-Madison with a double major in Math and Art, and it was there my passion for ceramics began. After graduation I put my creative side on hold and entered the Healthcare IT industry. I returned to pottery a couple of years ago, but in 2016, after nearly a decade in IT, I decided to pursue ceramics more seriously. It is when I’m creating that I feel most whole, and it is my desire to create both functional and appealing items for you and your home.
All of my work is handmade in my garage-turned studio. Each piece is wheel-thrown and then fired to 2230° C in my electric kiln. Interested in a custom or personalized item, contact Vanessa directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
